Commercial tables had a serial number. for tax registration. This is attached to the bottom edge of the housing. If it is not a commercial billiard, it has no number. Ambassador and Nassau, which were only used privately, are such models. These were rounded off on the lower edge of the housing. Here is a picture of my Nassau 8 that falls under this category.
