Hello, Stefen-

In the 1960s, this model was changed slightly in Germany by the company “Automatenbau Förster” and sold very successfully under its own name. The following sizes were offered: 5ft, 5.5ft, 6ft, and 7ft. I am not aware of larger versions of “Förster”. Later this model was offered by the “Heinrich Hecker KG – Automatenfabrik” from Paderborn, and it was also sold under the name “Olympia” with a light wood decor. “Förster” also offered a 7ft carom version of this model.
The rubber strips that are also used in other Irving Kaye models, I always make from transparent silicone rubber. This material can be cut very well and installed in the aluminum rail. After cutting the strips, I paint them with silver or black spray. The lacquered side is then mounted inwards and you then have a brilliant and resistant front. One piece of advice, metallic spray enhances the design and looks classy.

Regards, Valero
