The diamonds over the screws of the rails are mostly broken or look hideous after so many decades. So I found covers for screws in the sanitary area, which I only had to reduce a little at the edge. I left a small edge at the top so that the cover doesn’t fall into the hole for the screw. I’ve used this trick on many of Irving Kaye’s tables and it always looks good.
