    Hello,

I managed to buy one of your classic foosball tables at a garage sale.

    !!! LOOKING FOR PARTS !!!

    Need ashtrays! 4 of ’em!

    Need drink holders on ends.

Counters are kinda faded, do they make any replacements for those?

Do they make ANY aftermarket parts?

ALSO, need the coin-op assembly from one that may be used for parts…

Looking for some info also… The field is pea green with white rails. Men are 6 colors.

The ones I have seen so far are green field with green rails. Men are 3 colors.

Is the difference due to date of manufacturing? If so, what is the age difference?

THANKS SO MUCH for ANY HELP or info!!!

    MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

    Thanks so much again!!!

Welcome to the forum. We are just beginning to collect more information on Irving Kaye products and your table will help us learn more.

Could you post and/or send me photos and I will post them and reach out to a few of the foosball people I know to see if we can get some answers for you.

I’m curious I’ve never heard the term “Silver Series” what can you share with me about that?

    Thanks! –S.

    Hi Stephen!

    Here is a pic:

I haven’t cleaned it at all and am planning on restoring it in the next month or so. No parts or replies to any info or help, but… thanks for your help.

    MUCH appreciated,
    LoU! ๐Ÿ™‚

    HeLLo!

I hope we can find out some more info about these FoosBall tables.

The only other one I have seen is very different looking from mine. My guess is that it was manufactured later then mine because it looks more standard and the men are simplified.

It has a much darker deep green surface and the side ramps are green also. I also noticed that the men are also “simplified”, they are 3 colors, where mine are 6 (white bottom, flesh tone, red/blue, hair color, blue eyes and red lips) The men in the middle rows are also different.

    So… not sure… anyone know?

    Thanks!

I just got one of these tables last weekend. Mine appears to be a tournament table with no coin mechs built in. Mine also is a combination of the two you have pics of. I have the lighter green field with the matching lighter green side ramps. My men are also the same as in your second picture.

I forgot to ask, is there supposed to be a manufacturing plaque with a date or serial number anywhere on these tables? I haven’t found anything anywhere on mine to find out when it was possibly manufactured.

It could be the age of the photo, but doesn’t the playfield look brownish in this photo?

Kinda hard to tell from the bunny photo – at a low angle and yes, it does look brown, but color photography back then and aging too…

So your table is green, and 3 color men… my middle row has some of those style, but the majority of them are 6 colors.

Does yours have the 4 ashtrays. If not, how are they “replaced”. It’d be cool if you could post some pics of yours.

Mine has a rectangular metal plate on the bottom left hand corner on the end, attached with 2 rivets, with a red “K-” printed and “21745” engraved as the serial number I would assume. There is some pencil and numbers freehand writing inside of my cabinet body, after you remove the play field, but no date written in mine.

I found over $5 in quarters, all, 1960-76, a hotwheel, marble, golf ball, whiffle ball, baby toy, and crayons inside of mine! LoL!!

Well, thanks for the reply! Hope we can figure some things out about these.

p.s. Where did you find that photo – too funny!!!

I took the liberty of blowing up the photo a bit and color correcting it so it looks more “normalized”… The side rails look like they are the lime green color, and the brown hue is maybe from chrome reflection, etc… not a real clear shot of the field though.

    Hope this helps!

The photo I found from searching “vintage foosball” on google images. It’s a postcard from the New Jersey area around 1970, so the website says.

I do still have the four ashtrys, although it appears there were never any chains attached to them as the literature shows. Maybe because it was never intended for business locations.

I have looked the entire table over, and there isn’t any manufacturing plates (at least not anymore).

I will take some pictures as soon as I clean it up and post them on here. All I need to make it complete is replace the two screwdriver handles someone put on it to replace a couple grips, haha.

Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and condition of the game. My brother in law owed me $75, and just gave me the table instead. A good deal I think!

    GREAT find finding that photo!

That’s nice you have the 4 ashtrays. Mine has all the chains too, but nothing attached… I was wondering why they were just hanging there.

Took me about 30-40 hours to restore mine, so have FuN!!! Painted the legs, retouched the black in the goals, wire brushed off all the oxidation inside the metal ball ramps, etc…. it’s a LOT of work!

I will take some pics of mine. If you have smoke or nicotine buildup on the cabinet, I used an Orange Clean type solution and it worked wonders!!! I even cleaned up the balls to be white again by using GoJo Hand Cleaner! I also used soap and water with an old toothbrush to scrub up the men. I didn’t wanna use chemical based because of the hand painted men. Waxed the chrome bars and the playfield too. Got SUPER Lube for the bars and it works awesome!

If you wanna ever consider selling the ashtrays, or maybe just 2… lemme know! LoL! Oh well…

If you need any help, lemme know.

    Thanks again,
    LoU! ๐Ÿ™‚

OHHHH – I see…. it’s not the bar style… rather a home model! Wow – they had quite a line of them all…

nice find on the postcard! I reposted it here: Foosball on Location. I emailed the owner and asked if there is any information on the back of the card. Hopefully. ๐Ÿ™‚ Not sure if you’ve seen it but there is a reprint of an old Foosball catalog here: Foosball Catalog
