Home › Forums › Looking for Parts › Ball-Gate Mechanism Inquiry – Irving Kaye Apollo
Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum and am seeking technical assistance with my Irving Kaye Apollo billiard table
While I have successfully restored the coin mechanism after a deep cleaning, the ball-gate mechanism is currently not functioning correctly. Specifically, it fails to lift and lower as intended. Based on my assessment, one or more springs responsible for the vertical movement of the gate appear to be missing or incorrectly tensioned.
If anyone owns the same model or has experience with this specific mechanical assembly, could you please provide a high-resolution photo or a diagram of your ball-gate setup?
I am trying to verify the exact mounting points and the types of springs required for the gate’s return and release.
I would greatly appreciate any photos or technical guidance to help me get this vintage machine fully operational again.
Thank you for your support!
I am experimenting but it won’t work 😕
