My name is John and I am a proud owner of a Kaye foosball table. I have owned this table since college 30+years. I won it actually playing foosball. And I have had it since. It has brought me a tremendous amount of fun , long nights, and memories of many years.

It always owns a respectable corner in my basement and my four boys have learned to play over the years. Now with them old enough to play in the bars, they suddenly realize how good they are in comparison to many. Now they come home and want to refurbish the table to be in pristine condition.

So as my table may be handed down to my boys, I am looking to clean things up a bit and make it look as good as it still plays.

I have gone through many men and a handful of rods over the years. I need new cushions and a little of everything. Is there one over another to choose from. I have learned the difference btwn the solid rods and the inferior type, and there are a lot of cheap men( easily breakable), I used to have red and blue men. I see things have changed over time but curious if adaptable without any problem.

So can any of you members guide me to the refurbishing my table so it may give my boys another thirty years.

Welcome! Hopefully one of the Foosball guys can help you. I’m still looking for my first IK Foosball table to go with my pool table.
