Hello everyone, my name is Matt and I recently inherited an Irving Kaye 7-162345foot table from my late Father, however it is missing a few parts. I’ve never had a table before so I may not know exactly what the parts are called but I do shoot pool a lot and it would mean a lot to me to be able to restore this particular table.

I have the 1 piece slate top as well as the “shell”. I also have 6 rails that all seem to be the same size. Everything is taken apart. My Father purchased this item and never set it up, perhaps due to the fact that it was missing pieces. I am missing the silver edging pieces that go around the table, the rubber rings that go in the pockets and unfortunately 1 out of the 4 legs…

Does anyone know if there are generic parts that can be purchased and fit a table like this? Also, does anyone know what kind of Irving Kaye table this is? Thank you for any help or direction you can steer me in!

Matt, this is an Silber Shadow from the 70′. The parts you can only get used. Or you buy one in bad condition and slaughter it. Others are certainly also looking for parts of the old model. So you can still earn some money with it.

    Regards, Valero

Don’t be discouraged – I resurrected my Apollo-8 (which has great sentimental value) from a similar state. At the end of the day, all that really matters is the slate and the rails. If the rails are in good shape, you just need to replace the felt and assemble it. My rails were in pretty bad shape, so I made new ones from PVC and rubber from Classic Billiards. CB also sells pocket liners and few other odd pieces for these tables.
