    Hey guys –

    Super psyched to have found this forum. My name is Bruno, and I live in CT. I came across my table Monday of last week 7/29 on Craigslist. The table was in a nearby town here in CT (Trumbull) about 30 min from my house. Spoke to the woman, she had just gotten divorced and in the middle of selling off what was left in the house before she put the house on the market. She was asking $50 bucks for the table and needed it out of her house asap. She told me the table what in need of work, but everything was there and all the ball returns worked as they should (except for the cue ball, it wasn’t 2 3/8″). Thanks to this website I have been able to inform myself about my table, as there really isn’t any other place to get the info I seek. So thank you guys for putting this all together. I really appreciate it!

    The deal I ended up making was as follows:

    I paid $40 cash for the following:

    * Eldorado table
    * 2 compete sets of balls
    * 1 triangle
    * 3 titanium shaft (screw together” cues ( all needed new tips)
    * 1 bridge
    * 1 vintage Budweiser Tin sign
    * 1 wooden Cue stick wall mounted rack
    * 1 set of brand new in the box NY Giants Helmet Indoor/Outdoor string lights.

    Not a bad deal huh?! 😀

    Table info is:

    Eldorado Mark II
    Original felt is hosed
    Frame is solid with expected exterior scratches
    Stripe detail and all original badges seem to be intact
    Coin-op is missing
    2 white rail markers are missing (I’ll have to track down the right size)

    Planned restoration work (all ready in progress)

    Ordered 21oz Wine colored felt (I can never leave well enough alone I need to put my stamp on stuff :))

    Touching up exterior scratches using Minwax repair Markers (it already looks 100% better

    Polish all the balls (Found a great youtube video and how to make a killer DIY ball polisher, and it worked great!)

    That pretty much sums it up. I’m planning to make this table the focal point of my man cave this coming winter…

    I’ll post up pictures of my progress.

    Thanks again Guys!

    Cheers!

    Bruno
