Jan, you don’t have to be afraid that you’re going to break something. These tables are all very simple and logically constructed. If you don’t have two left hands, it won’t be a problem for you.

ValeroParticipantHello, Vaughn
The four feet with the plates to level the table are missing, so he wobbles. Will not be easy to find the originals. Possibly the ones of the Apollo fit, they are to be found more often and look similar.Regatds, Valero
ValeroParticipantSteven, You can install thin rubber mats on the running gutters for the ball inside, then the balls run very quietly. However, the mats must only be very thin. I have done the same at some tables. It works well.

ValeroParticipantMatt, this is an Silber Shadow from the 70′. The parts you can only get used. Or you buy one in bad condition and slaughter it. Others are certainly also looking for parts of the old model. So you can still earn some money with it.

ValeroParticipantThis is an Apollo
ValeroParticipantHere still n another photo of the complete frame turned upside down

ValeroParticipantValeroParticipantIf you want to remove the rails, each rail has three screws which are loosened from the outside.
The photos are of an Apollo, the system is the same.

ValeroParticipantValeroParticipantJan, the screws are under the diamonds. These are made of rubber and you can carefully pry them out with a pointed thorn or a small screwdriver. Often, however, they are already in a very bad condition because they have already been taken out several times because of the change of the cloth. Unfortunately, very few pay attention and damage them most of the time. Not infrequently they are completely missing. After removing the screws, it is possible to lift down the entire frame. At the corners, the wood is connected with metal wedges. That can break if you don’t pay attention. The wedges can be knocked out with a blunt thorn if you want to completely disassemble the frame.
ValeroParticipantAs I said, only go to this work if you have done enough attempts before and you are sure that you will also master this work. But it’s better if you give the job to a painter. The table is too nice to be tarnished by a mistake. Good luck with your project.
