    Hello Forum,
I just purchased for $75.00 an Irving Kaye coin-op pool table. The price should tell you what condition it is in. I am putting the table back in usable condition. When I removed the slate top, I realized that someone had removed part of the ball return tracks. Does anyone have any pictures of the inside of the table? I believe mine is a Silver Shadow. Any help would be appreciated.

Check out DKBilliards.com, he has some good internal pics. I wonder what the guy was thinking when he took it apart. I believe those chutes where aluminum. Let me know how it goes. Mike

i have pics of mine , i just got it and had it ripped apart for awhile.

here is a few pics from when i had the slate off. let me know what your missing , i have replaced almost every nut bolt and screw in the table and had to repair a few rail bolt holes. i also pulled out almost every rail and wire brushed them back to nice shine , crazy dirty.

i still have alot of work i want to do but its playable now .. i need the one plastic piece at the rack end and a new door.

oh and i am also working on vector versions of the logos Silver Shadow and the metal Irving Kaye logo on the side for vinyl cutting new ones ..

Thanks, the pictures are very helpful. I did not know the rails were aluminum. My table must not be a silver shadow, because my wood ball return is down one side and not in the middle. If I can’t find the aluminum rails, I think I might make some out of PVC pipe. If you happen to have a close up picture of the pocket liner and gulley boots on yours, I would appreciate that also.

    Thanks,
    BR

I had my table apart last year (moved it) but didn’t take pix. What model is your table? I’ll keep my eyes open for some for you.

    Thanks Stephen,
I’m having a hard time identifying my table. The only reason I know it is an IK is because of the rotary score counters have the IK logo. This was a very basic model. Does not have any decorative features.

You are right! I did not realize my table was that old. Shame someone painted over the woodwork and removed the ball return mechanism. I’m going to try to get it working again.

    Thanks for your help!
